Q: Are Omamori blessed by a real shrine or temple?
A: Yes. All Omamori sold in our shop are directly sourced from authentic shrines and temples in Japan.
Each Omamori has been officially blessed before being made available.
We work closely with local shrines and temples mainly located in Nara and other historical areas of Japan.
Q: Can non-Japanese or non-Buddhists/Shinto people use Omamori?
A: Yes, of course. Omamori are cultural items meant to bring protection and good fortune to anyone.
You don’t need to belong to any religion to keep or receive one.
Many people around the world carry Omamori as a symbol of positivity, mindfulness, and connection with Japanese culture.

Q: How long does it take to receive omamori after order?
A: We usually ship omamori within 2 to 3 business days after order.
If you choose express shipping, we will ship by Fedex or DHL (Sometime by Japan Post EMS) and takes around 3-7 days to deliver.(depending on the countries)
If we ship by standard shipping, it ships by Japan Post standard, it takes around 2 to 4 weeks after shipping.(depending on the countries)
Q: How should I dispose of an old Omamori?
A: In Japan, Omamori are usually returned to the shrine where they were originally obtained so they can be respectfully burned in a purification ceremony. However, since our shop is not a shrine, we do not accept returned Omamori. We kindly ask customers to handle disposal themselves.
If you are outside of Japan, here are some general steps you can follow to dispose of an Omamori respectfully:
-
Express Gratitude – Hold the Omamori in your hands and silently thank it for its protection and support.
-
Wrap in Natural Materials – Wrap it in a clean sheet of paper or cloth (preferably cotton or paper).
-
Burn or Bury (Optional) – If possible, you may respectfully burn it in a safe manner, or bury it in the earth to return it to nature.
-
Alternative Option – If burning or burying is not possible, you may place it in the regular trash after wrapping it respectfully. Many people also include a small amount of salt as a symbolic gesture of purification.
There is no strict requirement, but showing respect and gratitude is the most important part of the process.
Q: How do I track my international shipment?
A: We send you a tracking number by email when your order ships.

-
