About Horyuji Temple
The Horyuji Temple (法隆寺 Horyu-ji) is a Buddhist temple that was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples, in Ikaruga, Nara Prefecture, Japan.
The temple's pagoda is widely acknowledged to be the oldest wooden building existing in the world.
Prince Shotoku is from there.
This temple is one of most famous in Nara and all over Japan.
